In the Book of Mormon, the prophet Nephi says:
"But behold, I, Nephi, will show unto you that the tender mercies of the Lord are over all..." (1 Nephi 1:20).
How true that is! I made a goal several years ago that I would write one tender mercy that I had seen that day in my journal every night. Some nights were easier than others to see the hand of the Lord in my life.
As I sat and pondered this morning it became more clear to me that everything has worked out the way it has because of Heavenly Father's hand.
Although I have not listed many, I stand amazed at these tender mercies/miracles. It is so incredible, if we really think about it, how small and simple things really change our lives for the better. Heavenly Father knows what He is doing!
I challenge each of you to take just 1 minute today and ponder the Lord's hand in your lives. What has He done for you?

- We found our apartment and furniture in places and for prices we never would have looked. Our apartment wasn't even listed!
- Our health, although not perfect, has been sufficient to allow us to do what we needed to do through this move.
- Purchases I made long ago are all of a sudden more useful than ever, which means that Heavenly Father had His hand in my life a long time ago too!!
