Another year closer to seeing you again!!!! 💙
Tonight we celebrated with your favorite, Arby's (as always). And since it is your birthday, we ordered what we wanted, so we were planning on spending a little more $ than usual.
When we got to the window, your dad realized he didn't have his wallet! We were both so sure that he had left it in the car, but it wasn't there at all. After frantically looking everywhere for cash or card or something, we finally had to tell the lady that we forgot it. Your dad asked if we could go home and come back, but the manager lady came and pushed a few buttons and just said "don't worry about it today, I've got it covered."
That lady didn't know that we were celebrating you today. She didn't know that we order Arby's every year in a strange, yet successful, attempt to cover our grief with a party. I hope that her life is blessed a million times over for her kindness.
Your short life has changed ours completely and continues to do so! We could never have imagined what you would do for us, and we are so, SO thankful for that. I cannot wait to thank you in person.
